Corporate Responsibility
Investing in Our Communities
Reed Technology and LexisNexis believe that investing in our communities is an opportunity to play a positive local and global role, as well as our responsibility as a good corporate citizen. We strive to make our communities better ones in which to live and work.
Reed Technology as well as our parent companies, LexisNexis and Reed Elsevier, have a long and rich tradition of giving back to the community. Globally, we address our community program through LexisNexis Cares, a part of Reed Elsevier Cares. We share a mission to play a positive role in our local and global communities, primarily through employee involvement.
Through our LexisNexis Cares program we provide each of our employees the opportunity to take two paid days off per year to volunteer with non-profits of their choosing. Each year, Reed Tech employees volunteer thousands of hours, sharing their personal talents and energy in support of local, national and international non-profit organizations and the communities that they serve.
Along with our volunteer support initiatives, through our “Cares” programs we offer employee matching gifts, PC donations, technology scholarships and targeted corporate contributions. Together, these distinct programs bring the human and financial resources of Reed Technology, Reed Elsevier and its people to deserving organizations in our communities across the globe.
