Q: What aspects of your job are most motivating?

A: In my role, it is critical to effectively communicate to prospects how Reed Tech can provide value to their organization. UDI compliance is very nuanced, so education is also important. I love establishing relationships with customers, learning about their needs, and providing guidance to steer them on the right path.
Additionally, I enjoy helping customers evolve their understanding of UDI requirements and the importance of having a data management strategy in place; leading to a good foundation of the UDI compliance mandate and an implementation approach. Actually, the process is a really satisfying aspect to my job.

Q: What kinds of customer challenges do you like to solve?

A: Many companies require some level of subject matter expertise relating to UDI compliance. It could be a deeper understanding on the assignment of their device identifiers or wanting to know how to manage high volumes of data. In my experience at Reed Tech, both large and small companies need some type of support, especially now, as UDI is global.

Therein lies the challenge. Diligence is required to understand the regulations of all the countries requiring UDI regulatory data compliance and how to manage that information. My part is to give guidance so that companies know where to start. For instance, we discuss what options would be the most beneficial and cost-efficient for their organization to ensure that all of their UDI data requirements needs are met.

Q: What is a little known fact about you?

A: Aside from work, I really love to travel whether it is day trips or long vacations. The most interesting places I have traveled so far have been Paris, multiple cities in Germany, and Austria. I think the next place that I would like to go would be Africa on a safari.
